有点意外，但也是预料之中的事，你懂的！
从公众号开始，我就给自己定位在这个散文汉译英小众领域。那时，市面上推送散文翻译的公众号非常罕见，有的老师还回避散文翻译。我进入这个小众领域也不是一时兴起，而是有备而来，前面自己专门学过一段时间呢——我不想误人子弟。
这就是差异化。
如今这个“散文翻译”差异化在缩减。有新人进入，更有其他老师兼搞这个，以扩大自己的覆盖范围。
如果散文这个小众实在太小众，考题差不多全是政经类，那我该怎么办？

中国传统文化是我们先辈传承下来的丰厚遗产。她无时无刻不在影响今天的中国人，为我们开创新文化提供历史根据和现实基础。传统文化在影响现实的同时，也必然在新时代的氛围中发生蜕变。中国传统文化犹如一条奔腾了五千年的永不干涸的大河，她亦旧亦新，不断吐故纳新，持续创新。（129字）
【提示】
这篇要注意几个时间副词的处理：无时无刻、不断、持续，以便让译文显得更自然点。有意思的是，译文句式和原文有点相似。

Traditional Chinese culture is a hefty heritage passed down from our ancestors. Today we are still a nation being constantly conditioned by it, which serves us as historical references and a reality foundation for creating new culture. In the new era as this traditional culture is shaping reality, it is inevitably undergoing transmutation. Traditional Chinese culture is just like a mighty river and for five millenniums it has been racing on, never to dry up, but is both old and new, refreshing and renovating itself all the while.
